In January Kodak filed for bankruptcy. In February Kodak announced the end of their digital cameras.
Now Kodak is suing Apple over 10 patents that Kodak wants to sell but Apple claims they own. These patents were for technology that arose from joint work between the two companies in the early 1990s. A third company, FlashPoint Technology, also claims ownership of these patents.
Cases like this are sure to be legally complex and the mud slinging will likely get very messy with Kodak already accusing Apple of being a copyright infringer and trying to run out Kodak's meager financial ability rather than go through legal systems.
