Most professions/hobbies have "in-jokes." These are jokes that only those involved in the job or hobby understand completely. Things like: You might be a photographer if you dress your family in parkas in July so you can get the Christmas card photo. Or perhaps: You might be a photographer if you've ever repainted a room to match a so it doesn't clash with a photograph.

Amen! These really are all too true, and fit me like a glove, but I guess I never really thought about it. (Have been taking pix since I was 8 or 9. Will turn 67 mid-Nov.)
