Adobe loves to host virtual presentations for media when a new product is about to roll out. So of course, a few weeks ago they began showing media the new Elements 10. Of course, we couldn't tell you about it until the official release but this gave us time to see the new features in use and start working with the program so our reviews could be completed with less delay after launch.
Several things excited many of the media in attendance during the presentation. Probably the biggest round of "I like that" was for the new organization features that let you search for duplicate photos by content and similar photos by content (color, shapes, faces). These new organization capabilities will be hugely helpful to every level of photographer. After all, organization of tens of thousands of digital files has always been a daunting task.
In addition there are new tweaks to existing tools, new templates, more guided edits, and other new features like the ability to bend text on a curve. Find out all the details in my full review of Photoshop Elements 10.
