For some reason camera manufacturers seem to want to hobble photographers with the factory camera settings. Whenever I get a new camera I usually wind up spending close to an hour getting all the settings turned just like I want them. Factory settings are the cause of many photo problems I am asked about. Lag time in taking a photo, photo size/quality, and exposure dullness are the three big creations of factory camera settings. You don't need to spend a lot of time like I do tweaking every possible setting in the camera, just fixing these three camera settings will result in a quick improvement to your photos!
