Painting Effects

Monday June 8, 2009
Love the painted or draw filters you can apply to your images in many digital darkroom programs but hate the lack of control? Wish that you could better control the brushstrokes and keep a few points on the image sharper easily? If so, Alien Skin's Snap Art2 filter pack may be for you. The 2nd release of the Snap Art set, this group of filters and effects allows fine control of many parts of the image (type of pixelation, lighting, contrast, color oddities, much more) and offers a wide variety of effects. Comic book, watercolor, pen and ink, pointillism, oil paint, and many others are included in this pack. If you love giving your photos that painted look its truly worth taking a look at this product.

Currently I’m not aware of any similar products for Corel. The only plugins I’m aware of for their products are predesigned brushes but nothing like Alien Skin’s products for Adobe.
