Photography Assignment #48 - Digital Manipulation

Our learning assignment for this month is digital manipulation. With the rise of digital photography, digital darkroom skills are just as important as traditional chemical darkroom skills were in the past. Digital manipulation (for this assignment) refers to any change to the image done on the computer.
Changes may be small like color correction or large like cloning. The goal for this assignment is to edit your photo to make it the best photo possible. You can combine photos, clone, erase, color correct, adjust levels, whatever you want to change for this assignment. Each person will be limited to two entries for this assignment. Each entry will consist of a before image and a finished image. I will copy the finished image into an entry image gallery (live once we have at least 4 entries) within 48 hours of the entries being posted. Once this gallery goes live I will post a link.

The deadline for this contest will be at 10PM Eastern time on June 15th.
For this assignment images may have been taken anytime but the digital manipulation must be done during the contest period. (June 1 - June 15)
Assignment winners will be announced June 20th.
In an effort to make our assignment threads a bit easier to follow, I am asking that you do not post non-entries in the entry thread. Also, entries must be clearly marked as "Entry 1" or "Entry 2" because there are always a few cases where someone needs to change a previously submitted entry. Entrants are limited to ONE change of entry. If an entry must be changed you must edit your original post to say "retracted entry" and the new entry post MUST state that it is a replacement entry.
