Pentax Announces K-7 DSLR
Monday May 25, 2009
Pentax has announced the upcoming release of their new DSLR, the K-7. Scheduled to ship in July 2009, the specs for this new camera read much like a wish list of photographers. While the new Pentax K-7 maintains the 14.6 MP of the K20D, it adds a cornucopia of features. Items like HD movie capability, 1/8000 of a second shutter speed, reduced noise, cold resistant to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, 100% field of view TTL viewfinder, and a magnesium-steel alloy body make the K-7 enough to elicit a "Tool Man" growl (remember the show "Home Improvement") from many photographers.Pentax K-7 Profile

The K-7 looks to be a serious contender with Canon and Nikon equipment. It is great to see Pentax really working with photographers’ needs and today’s technology in mind. nice article!
