Community Critique Gallery for May 16-22, 2009 Posted

Saturday May 16, 2009
Critique is a skill that is very important in photography. Learning to look critically at images, both the good and bad points) is essential for learning to review your own work. This week we have 3 more opportunities for you to practice critique with. A nest full of baby hummingbirds, a moon shot, and a cat up a tree are open for discussion. You don't have to be a "professional" to critique an image - just offer your honest and constructive opinion. Items such as composition, lighting, backgrounds, and poses are all good places to start when considering your critique. Remember to add suggestions for fixing any problems you point out if possible.

Community Critiques for May 16-22, 2009

Each week I'll be selecting 3 images submitted through the forum's "Who Wants Critiqued?" thread (free forum sign up) to open for critique to our entire community.
