Lightening Up Dark Photos

While blurry images may have been your number one pet peeve in photography, dark photos run a very close second. Photography is the art of recording light. And while there will always be instances when you either don't have enough light to take a photograph, or you must add more light with a flash, the most common cause of dark photos is simply that you didn't record the right amount of light.
