Many ferns do get that “perfect” in small areas – this type also has little knobs on the stems that often look like plastic attachments.

I agree with Liz – the smaller the area, the more the natural organization has a chance of showing through unblemished. Although many “imperfections” simply add more visual interest and intellectual intrigue. :)
