Assignment 27 - Food

Time for another fun photography assignment. This assignment will revolve around food. We can't live without food but our obsession with it goes far beyond survival. We have entire festivals devoted to particular kinds of food. We spend thousands of dollars over a lifetime on tools to help us prepare food. There is an entire TV channel devoted to food. Take some time to be creative and show us your best food shot.

Be sure to remember the basics of composition and technical technique.

Read over the rules for details on posting your entries, image size requirements, and helpful hints. Entries MUST comply with these rules to be valid.
The deadline for this contest will be at 10PM Eastern time on June 30th.
Images MUST be taken during the contest period (June 16 - June 30).
Assignment winners will be announced July 3rd.
In addition to the winner and up to 8 finalists posted in the winner's gallery, I will also be selecting several images each contest for additional critiques to be posted in the entry thread.
