Stampington & Company has recently released Life Images Magazine into the already crowed field of photography magazines. However, this magazine isn't filled with thousands of ads and three lonely photo tips. This magazine is 144 pages of excellent images and photographer thoughts on those images. This is one publication that every photographer will want to read over and over again.

I agree with your assessment of Life IMages. I’ve seen both issues on newsstands at Barnes & Noble but haven’t bought it yet because of the high pricetag… obviously if they took ads it would be less expensive, but then it would look like PopPhoto & Shutterbug (although Shutterbug still tries to offer some viable editorial; PopPhoto has diminished into nothing more than a collection of ads and press releases from the advertisers).
