Adobe Photoshop Express Beta Goes Live

Thursday March 27, 2008
Adobe has released its Photoshop Express Beta to Internet users in the United States with plans of expanding to other countries. Adobe Photoshop Express Beta is a free photo storage, sharing, and editing site with rather powerful tools. While images cannot be resized to specific dimensions, there are some very powerful editing tools including sharpening and exposure correction. The images can be linked to and embedded in message boards or emailed to friends. The shared galleries even include a customizable web address. This new offering from Adobe even allows users to access images on sites such as Photobucket and Picasa for easy editing. While this is just the Beta version, it is sure to gather a lot of support even in this early stage of development.
