Winner and Finalists of Assignment 22 - Green

Tuesday March 18, 2008
This assignment was all about capturing a color. In this case, the color green. Green has many connotations across the world but the most common ones are about life. Beyond depicting life or growth there are also other ways to make sure that green is the topic of the image and not just a color in the photograph. Our photographers filled the forum with green for this assignment. Although I must admit I am a bit disappointed no one used my idea of turning a two-year-old loose with a bucket of green paint. Ah well, on to the winner and finalists!

The winner for photography assignment 22 - green is Frisbee!

When you are done reviewing the winner and finalist images, be sure to spend some time enjoying the rest of the entries in the forum. There will be additional photo critiques posted in the forum and please feel free to add your own images in the forum as well. We have a lot of amazing people as members in our forum and we would love for you to join us!

Another great batch of photos with this assignment! Having a love of abstraction, with the food coloring photo I would’ve been tempted to crop it so you didn’t see the glass at all, just the green swirl. Though then you’d loose that lovely green reflection on the surface.
