Photograph Wins Kirkland's Next Great American Artist Competition
Wednesday January 30, 2008
For the second year in a row, photographs have beat out paintings to win Kirkland's Next Great American Artist Competition. Last year, Brooke Boyer's image of a tree in snow won the competition. This year, Jennifer Reddick's image of a gate at Oxford won the prize. I am also thrilled to announce that one of our very own forum members placed highly in the finalists. Congrats to Sam Alfano on his image of a flower-framed door placing very highly in the competition.
