Polaroid Brings Instant Gratification to Digital
Monday January 7, 2008
When digital photography first came out, photographers were ecstatic about the instant gratification of seeing what they just shot within seconds. Even more than Polaroid's instant printing, digital photography with its preview screens was true instant gratification. Well, Polaroid has upped the ante! Just launched at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas is the Polaroid Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer with USB AND Bluetooth capability. This will allow cameraphone images and digital cameras with Bluetooth (the rumors are those cameras are going to be plentiful in short order) to transmit images to this tiny (about the size of a deck of cards) printer with the speed of radio. Now we can hold our digital images in our hands with nearly the same speed as we can preview them. Are they big prints? Of course not! But its still a great way to have quick index prints and it certainly falls under the "really cool gadget" category!

Wow! That is awesome. They will sell like hot cakes.
Too bad Santa’s just been or this would’ve been on my wishlist!
