Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year Announced
Friday October 26, 2007
Its been a month chock full of contests! Back on October 1st I told you about the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. This year's adult winner is Ben Osborne and the youth winner is Patrick Corning(who was in the 10 and younger category). There are lots of other awards in specific categories as well. And this year the Natural History Museum in London is selling prints of the winning images at very reasonable prices. The Natural History Museum will have the winners on display from October 26th to April 27th. If you can't make it to London to see these amazing images in person you can visit them online. This year a "visitor's choice" vote has been added as well. Be sure to click around and vote for your favorite image. My favorite is "Polar Meltdown" by Arne Naevra.
